OpenArts brings visual art events and educational programming to the public throughout the year. OpenArts roots go back to 1995 when Gary Zeff founded the Open Studio Fall Artist Tour. What began as a relatively small tour now consists of 125 artists opening their personal studios over the first two weekends of October. In 2008, OpenArts purchased the Clementine Studio. Operating a year round art school for individuals of all ages has allowed OpenArts to expand its reach in the community and establish a scholarship program for under-served youth.
Today, OpenArts is a comprehensive visual arts organization. Spend some time on this site to learn a little more about the work of OpenArts. For more in depth information on Clementine classes and philosophy please visit openartsclementine.org. To learn more about the Open Studios Fall Artist Tour visit openstudios.org and finally, visit the Open Studios Gallery @ Rembrandt Yard. Open Studios Gallery is located in the heart of downtown Boulder and features works by local artists ob two floors.
Mission Statement:
The mission of Open Studios is to advance and enrich the visual arts and
promote the role of artists in the Boulder community.
